This seat was touted to be the real opponent to the Britax Advocate 70 by Amazon reviews. So I took the time to see what Recaro ProRIDE was all about and this is what I observed.

The Recaro ProRIDE Convertible Seat has very good fabrics that are removable and can be easily clean up with a rag. However, it is not machine washable. The seat is very easy to install and you can adjust the headrest without having to uninstall the seat. The car seat is also very sturdy and most kids would fit nicely and comfortably in it.

The Recaro ProRide have a very easy adjustable restraints. I especially like the head rest with the padded sides, this feature can offer great protection to children in the event of whiplash as there will be not much rooms for the child's head to move from side to side. I also noticed that this seat incorporate side impact protection, purposely designed to protect a child' head, neck, torso and pelvis in the event of side impact collision.

The seat is rather huge, which in my opinion are not suitable for smaller size babies as it could possibly suffocate the child who will be enclosed by the sheer size of this seat. However for bigger babies, I would agree that this car seat could offer the protection that parents would expect their child to have. Although the price is quite steep, the safety features of the Recaro ProRIDE are unbeatable by other brands. The only brand that can possibly compete with Recaro ProRIDE is probably the Britax Advocate car seats.
